Design by architect Tai Foy this two bedroom two-bath apartment was built by the Patten’s in 1978, the same year their youngest child went to Duke University. The Japanese architecture blends well with the 25 manicured flower boxes outside and the original oil painting by homemaker Ginny Patten. There are 12 steps to enter this 1,700 square foot apartment called ‘Leaf Haven.’ Guests receive a household tips sheet to quickly grasp its workings. Your stay at 114 Wilcox Drive with this eclectic collection furnishings, stained glass and art make for a warm and private rest. The Leaf Haven apartment is available on a monthly basis from late September to May each year.
